To estimate the capacity of a storage unit multiply its length x width x height. (Most units are at least eight feet in height.) Example: volume of a 5' x 10' storage unit is 5 (width) x 10 (length) x 8 (height) = 400 cubic feet. Follow these simple steps to match the volume of your goods to the right size storage unit or refer to the guidelines on the Storage Tips Page.
